Rainforest Adventure

Explore winding trails, waterways, and waterfalls in one of the most bio diverse rainforests, El Yunque. This rainforest is home to unique plant and animal species such as the tiny coquis (indigenous tree frogs) that serenade the evening hours. Why does the El Yunque rainforest feel so special? You must answer this for yourself. We will enjoy a picnic lunch during this adventure.

Taino: Native Peoples Experience

Legends of the Tainos, the native people of Puerto Rico, are passed down from generation to generation. Petroglyphs discovered throughout the island add insight to what their lives must have been like. These Taino symbols are seen today in much of Puerto Rico’s art. The Tainos believed their spirit ancestors, known as Cemi, guided and protected them. Learn about Taino culture and how their culture and heritage survives today.

Let us not forget one of the most awesome things about being on a Caribbean island – the BEACH! June is characterized by average temperature of 87 degrees (rarely exceeding 91) and average lows of 76 degrees. It will be the perfect time to frolic in the sand and float in the warm ocean waves. Because we will be staying just one block from the beach it will be easy to slip away for a quick dip or take an extended nap under a palm tree. Beach towels, beach chairs, and umbrellas are provided by our bed and breakfast, complimentarily.
